Магнолія Лебнера "Wildcat" (Magnolia loebneri "Wildcat")

Магнолія Лебнера (Magnolia х loebneri). Батьківщина – Німеччина. Магнолія Лебнера відноситься до зірчастих магнолій, але це гібрид магнолії кобус та магнолії зірчастої, яка цвіте на 1-2 тижні пізніше, що допомагає уникнути можливих пізніх квітневих заморозків. Має зірчасті квіти, ніжно-білі зсередини та з насичено-рожевим забарвленням ззовні, яке стає більш ніжним ближче до країв пелюсток. Запах майже нечутний. Квіти з'являються в кінці квітня, початку травня на голих пагонах набагато раніше за листя, тому краще висаджувати позаду магнолії якісь вічнозелені листяні або хвойні рослини для утворення контрастного зеленого фону.

Росте магнолія Лебнера повільно, досягаючи 5м заввишки і до 2,5 м в ширину, набуваючи пірамідальної форми. За умови достатнього місця для коренів у м'якшому кліматі розміри цієї магнолії можуть бути у два рази більші.
