Магнолія гібридна 'Galaxy' (Magnolia'Galaxy') — видквіткових рослин, що входить до роду Магнолія (Magnolia) родини Магнолієві (Magnoliaceae). Цю рослину ще називають чашоподібною магнолією, деревом тюльпана, а також магнолією гібридною. Виведена у Франції в 1820 році колишнім дипломатом французької армії Етьєном Суланжем.

Магнолії в дикому вигляді ростуть на території Південної та Північної Америки, Південно-Східної Азії, на островах Ява і Суматра. Придатна до вирощування по всій території України.

Магнолія 'Galaxy' - унікальний гібрид M. Lilliflora 'Nigra' і M. sprengeri 'Diva', що вирізняється як приємним солодким запахом квітів, так і, на відміну від інших сортів магнолій, своєю вузькою, пірамідальної формою. Вона має центральний стовбур і висхідні бічні пагони, що робить її ідеальною для посадки в невеликих садах. Кора стовбура гладка, сіра, гілок — сірувато-коричнева з восковим нальотом, молоді пагони коричнювато-оливкові, злегка махрові, пізніше голі. Бруньки шовковисто-махрові. Листя Магнолії 'Гелексі' велике світло-зелене, обернено-яйцеподібної форми, зверху голі, знизу мають легкий ворс. Темно-червоні і фіолетові квіти з'являються в кінці весни, тому рослина уникає ризику постраждати від весняних заморозків. Цвіте довго, забезпечуючи приємний вигляд і чудовий солодкий аромат в саду. Насіння дозріває у вересні— жовтні. Плід — 8-16см завдовжки і 3-7 см шириною, рожево-пурпурний.
